The first cold blast of winter is here. Temps are forecast to stay below freezing for several days. Make sure your cabin is properly insulated and that the heat is turned on. Turn off the water at the meter and open a faucet, this way if a pipe does break there is no pressure to cause a flood. It’s a good idea to leave sink cabinet doors open in the kitchen and bathrooms so the heat can reach the plumbing. Use some RV Anti-freeze (the pink stuff) in the drains and toilets to prevent traps from freezing.
Looking forward to a great winter of fun in the snow, skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, etc. Have fun and be safe.
